When you log in to your Dashboard, you will see options to add/edit Pages, and another option to add/edit Posts etc.
What is the difference between these two?
Pages is for static content. Your About Page, Contact Page etc are Pages. The content there is not “time sensitive” and has no chronological order.
Posts are articles you write. A modern website, a modern professional blog, is all about Posts.
And these articles/posts are indexed through Categories and Tags. Pages do not have cats nor tags. Pages are important: they present important information. But whenever you want to share something with the world on an ongoing basis, you write a new Post.
